Our Wedding

We met in September of 2018 while living across the hall from each other in campus housing during our second year at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Since then, we've shared countless memories through college and beyond, living and growing together as a couple. After obtaining her Master's Degree at UC Irvine, Brianna moved to Fresno and we moved in together in October of 2023 (with our cat Calvin!). We enjoy camping and exploring, spending time with friends and family, and experiencing the warmth of the world at each other's side. Our Story

We both lived in San Luis Obispo for several years and have visited the central coast regularly ever since. Let us know if you are looking for things to do while you are in town for the weekend and we will happily provide recommendations!

We have a block of rooms reserved at Springhill Suites Paso Robles Atascadero. You can book with our group rate using the link below or by calling the number above and mentioning the "Barnes/Dean Wedding Block." Reservations can be made until March 31 or until the block fills. There will be shuttle transportation provided with pickup and drop-off at this hotel. There are also many Airbnbs in Santa Margarita and additional hotel options nearby in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles (about 20–30 minutes away from Riata Ranch). We recommend booking early!

We are arranging shuttle transportation to and from the venue with pickup and drop-off at Springhill Suites Paso Robles/Atascadero. Please indicate whether you would like to utilize this shuttle service on the RSVP page. Shuttle pickup times will be provided at a later date.

Shuttle Transportation

The main entrance to Riata Ranch is at 6180 W Pozo Rd. Drive through the gate and follow the road to the dead end, then turn right; signs will guide you to the greenhouse. We recommend using Google Maps (Apple Maps can be inaccurate). On-site parking is available with a parking attendant to assist. You may leave your vehicle overnight if needed, but it must be picked up by 11:00 AM on Sunday.

Driving to the Venue

For those flying in from out of state, this is the closest airport. If you would rather fly into a larger airport and drive to the central coast, San Luis Obispo is roughly equidistant from both Los Angeles and the Bay Area (about a 3 hour drive).

Riata Ranch is a family-owned 1,400 acre working ranch located at the base of the Santa Lucia Mountains in Santa Margarita. The ranch was originally part of the Santa Margarita Ranch, established as part of Father Junipero Sera's Mission Trail in the late 1700s. Today, the focal point of the ranch is the Greenhouse, inspired by the Michelangelo Greenhouse in Italy. We were captivated by the ranch's natural beauty and cannot wait to celebrate with everyone in this beautiful location!
